Christmas Cover Competition 2017

Hero image

We have had hundreds of fantastic entries to this year’s competition from children all across the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. A big thank you to everyone for the time and effort taken in your submissions, we thoroughly enjoyed your artwork!

Our winner, giving vendors the best chance of selling the magazine is an extremely talented cover artist – is 4-year-old Molly O’Mara from Barnsley. Her brilliant painting (below) of a snowman won judges of our Christmas cover competition over. She tells us: “I’m really happy and very excited”.

Molly has received a bundle of children’s books worth £80, kindly donated by Quarto and Penguin.

Runners up

Congratulations also to our four runners-up who all receive a copy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Getaway by Jeff Kinney and Hetty Feathers Christmas by Jacqueline Wilson.
