The problems facing homeless people of all ages will come under the spotlight with a debate on 26 March 2015 at 15.00 at 18-22 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2JP.

Organised by The Big Issue in the North together with Sheffield charities Roundabout and SAVE, the FREE “Politics of the Street” event is part of the Sheffield Festival of Debate.

A discussion led by an expert panel, co-facilitated by The Big Issue in the North Sheffield’s Senior Support Worker Ben Stevenson, and an audience Q&A session will examine the issues facing people who sleep rough or are in temporary, unsuitable or vulnerable housing.

The debate will also hear from people affected by the issues of homelessness and about the actions they would like to see to address these issues, as well as ways to overcome barriers to political engagement.
