Nineties alt.rockers Jesus Jones are getting their act together, writing new material and performing at the Gigantic Indie All Dayer (28 May). They give Big Issue North their festival playlist.

I never lost the love of those huge Roland 808 bass drum sounds from the 1980s and their resurgence, alongside equally spartan and brutal bass, is more than welcome in my house. A fine example evidenced here.
