What informs your music and songwriting?
Contemporary themes that we get from our peers and interact with in the world around us.

How have you evolved as an act over the years?

Quite a lot. Gone from a three piece to a five piece, we’ve added keys and an extra guitar, which has changed the whole sound and songwriting and performing as a whole.

What are you up to at the moment artistically?
At the moment we’ve just been busy writing loads of new material and recording demos. We’ve also been working hard on our new live show.

What’s on your rider?
Hummus.

Tell us your most embarrassing or surreal experience.
Our most surreal experience was when we were loading the van after the gig and we opened the van to find two fans hiding in the back hoping to stow away with us. They turned out to be really nice but we eventually had to get rid of them – they were serious about coming with us.

What song do you wish you’d written?

Do I Wanna Know by Arctic Monkeys.

What’s your worst lyric?

“Just wanna say happy birthday” – a song I wrote for my mum on her birthday when I was 13.
