What do you have planned for the Folk Forest crowd?
This show is going to be pretty special as it will feature the Sheffield-based artist K.O.G as well as other guest vocalists. The set is super high energy mix of NT/K.O.G material that is sure to get everyone moving!

What else are you excited to see at the festival?

I have been listening to Soweto Kinch’s music for 10+ years now and seen him twice in small jazz clubs so really excited to see what his festival stage set will be like.

What’s your best festival memory?
That’s a tricky question as we have been to a lot of festivals and usually always have a lot of fun! A really stand out gig was seeing Bixiga 70 at Fusion festival in Germany, the whole band watched the show in this sweaty dark tent and lost our shit!

What are your festival essentials?

Hummus, Alka Seltzer and Weiss beer.

How does playing a festival differ from playing your own gig?
It starts with a lot more challenges like driving through muddy fields, not having a sound check and smelly toilets but usually ends with having the most exciting gigs possible!

Folk Forest festival takes place from 21-22 July.
